When you went home well were you really alone dear?
Washing in your shower stretching out for bed?
Well I was there and you were twine you had already unwound dear
wrapped around my finger
it was as matter of time.
And you swear that you'll leave him but you haven't left him yet
And you always deceive but you haven't left him yet
When we grow old well yeah we all do grow colder
swimming in the icebergs dead with all the fish
Well I was there I was your mother and I knew you did wrong girl
Wrapped around my fingers
I'm always watching your hands.
And she swears that she'll leave him but she hasn't left him yet
And I know she'll never leave him so I haven't left him yet.

I saw this duo's electrifying performance at Romanus Fest 2019, and I've been wanting more since then - it really stuck with me. This album does justice to my memory of that experience and then some. Stoked to see them this year at the Hifi! Snakey Jane

LUNG are back with a new album. You'll never believe that a band with just Cello, vocals and drums can sound so full. Propulsive, Heavy, tuneful and thoughtful. Incredible lyrics, powerful arrangements and songs that stick with you for long after you stop listening.
The only problem is they have a very unique sound, which isn't always rewarded. I need you to trust me when I say that this is WELL worth your time and one of the best records of 2018.
Bonus: a timely David Bowie cover. Conan Neutron

Frenzied and furious Cello, Vocals and Drums badassery. Absolute earworms that comes at you from an aggressive punk/post-punk place but has an incredible sense of melody, hooks and purpose. This is legit plus stuff and I can't think of a single band they really sound like. Just get it. Conan Neutron
